I have something quite shocking to say here. Please be sitting down when you read this post... I have dry skin and I don't like the Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation. If you can go on... Please continue reading.

I know this is difficult to comprehend because literally every beauty vlogger has raved about this foundation being great for dry skin. Ironically, whatever this foundation has in it it does make it seem possible to apply it with no moisturizer underneath which is quite amazing. To boot Maybelline also has a really nice color range with yellow undertones which I prefer. But there are some things I can't work around...

Upon applying this foundation is seemed overly dewy. I didn't know saying anything was overly dewy could ever be in my vocabulary. I've always fought with excessive dry flaky skin so on the surface this foundation formula seemed perfect. But, this foundation when applied to my face glistened, it looked wet. Too wet. And the coverage was not there. When I wear foundation I am NOT expecting something that looks like tinted moisterizer, I've expecting more. Although I can appreciate the Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation has something in it which is obviously dewy I don't like it, it's too much dewiness for me. .
